Sybil Brelsford was the secretary for the William Rockhill Nelson Trust; since she handled purchasing paperwork, reference to acquisitions is found here. Her correspondence includes letters from Ethlyne Jackson, Acting Director of the Museum for approximately 1942-1945. (Note: Later crrespondence from Jackson is filed under "J".) Also found are letters from Lindsay Hughes, Acting Curator of Asian Art, 1942-1946, and letters Hughes forwarded to Brelsford from Curator of Asian Art Laurence Sickman, who was then serving in the Army Air Corps, alternately in England, India, China, and Japan.
