Annual Reports, 1936-1940

This subseries is comprised of the Education Department’s annual reports for the years 1936 through 1983 and is arranged chronologically. The annual reports detail attendance totals for adult and children programs and classes, lists of staff members, description of tours and what groups attended them, docent updates, and new gallery activities. Early reports (1937-1944) have information divided into two separate sections, the junior and adult divisions. Some reports include information on the difficulties and struggles the museum faced each year. Budget and financial reports appear in reports starting in 1944.
