Scope and Contents
This sub-series is arranged topically and is composed of correspondence, reports, and other material on several different subjects: the installation and deinstallation of Mark di Suvero’s sculpture Vincent’s Sunflowers; the funding and assembly of the children’s guidebook/workbook to the Museum’s Chinese collection Dragon’s Gate; the Friends of Art 1981 purchase, Homage to the Square: Red Brass, by Josef Albers; the solicitations of prints for the Print Society to sell; and the founding and early activities of the Contemporary Art Society.
