Scope and Contents
This series is composed primarily of personal correspondence between Cooper and various friends and acquaintances. Of note are letters from Paul Gardner, from his retirement in 1953 until his death in 1972, expressing his opinions on the state of the Museum. Also present are Christmas letters providing updates on her and Frank Cooper’s activities.

The scrapbook from Series VI contains restricted information. A redacted copy has been provided. The rest of the collection is open for research. Appointments are necessary for the use of manuscript and archival collections.
