Scope and Contents Note
This series contains correspondence related to miscellaneous restoration projects as well as personal correspondence with colleagues throughout the conservation field. The bulk of correspondence is with Roth's close friends, Sheldon and Caroline Keck, who were fellow conservators and colleagues of his in various conservation organizations and programs. Organizations represented in the correspondence are the NYU Conservation Center of the Institute of Fine Arts, the American Institute of Conservation for Historic and Artistic Works (AIC), the Exposition of Painting Conservation (EPC), the International Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (IIC-AG), and the Museum Conservation Association.
